We are seeking a motivated and experienced Smoothie & Espresso Bar Manager to lead our beverage and wellness team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional product quality, managing staff, and maintaining seamless coordination with delivery platforms such as Grubhub, Uber Eats, and DoorDash. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on beverage preparation expertise with strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Supervise daily operations of the smoothie and espresso bar, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellence.
• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for beverage and food preparation, order fulfillment, and sanitation.
• Manage scheduling, task assignments, and team coverage to support business needs.

Beverage & Food Quality

• Oversee preparation of smoothies, juices, coffee drinks, açaí bowls, overnight oats, and immunity shots.
• Ensure all menu items meet quality, taste, and presentation standards.
• Collaborate with ownership/culinary leadership to update or enhance recipes and introduce seasonal offerings.

Staff Management & Training

• Recruit, train, and mentor team members on recipes, preparation techniques, and service standards.
• Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that supports employee engagement and retention.

Delivery & Order Fulfillment

• Manage delivery platform operations (Grubhub, Uber Eats, DoorDash) to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
• Monitor digital order flow and optimize processes for speed and efficiency.
• Implement best practices for packaging, labeling, and customer satisfaction for off-premise dining.

Inventory & Cost Control

• Oversee inventory levels of ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
• Manage shopping/ordering, receiving, and stock rotation to minimize waste and control costs.
• Quickly restock ingredients by making grocery runs when products run out unexpectedly.
• Track expenses and contribute to financial reporting to align with budget goals.

Cleanliness & Compliance

• Enforce strict sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety practices in compliance with health regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
• Implement corrective actions promptly when needed.

Customer Experience

• Ensure customers receive warm, knowledgeable, and efficient service.
• Address customer concerns and feedback professionally, resolving issues quickly.
• Act as an ambassador for the brand, promoting a culture of wellness and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in food & beverage, coffee shops, or wellness-focused environments.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation practices, and barista/beverage preparation.
• Familiarity with delivery platforms (Grubhub, Uber Eats, DoorDash).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of nutrition and healthy ingredients preferred.
• Tech-savvy, with ability to work with POS systems, scheduling, and reporting tools.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks (blending, pouring, prepping ingredients).
